KenPom Ratings - Cal Men's Basketball

KenPom has become the service for top tier analytics in the world of college basketball.
Every program utilizes Ken Pomeroy and his number crunching to both help evaluate their own team, as well to scout opponents.
KenPom’s overall ratings are based on the margin between a teams offensive and defensive efficiency. These tend to be highly correlated to wins and losses and NCAA tournament performance.

I've subscribed to Kenpom before and it's got a ton of info that you can sort in different ways, and tracks many metrics
I doubt all of that is available when you google it
lots of things are posted that is free available elsewhere, plus they put in the effort to summarize the relevant infoMiZery said:

Most of the information in this article is only accessible to paid subscribers of KenPom of which we are one

I don't have premium but Cal basketball in January is playing at a much higher level than we were in November and December. Any statistical model that averages all of our play is going to underrate us going forward. That said, the PAC-12 in general is not highly rated this year so beating other teams is hurting them more than it is helping us and our best (long) shot is winning the PAC-12 Tourney.
