Another big time transfer portal addition for our secondary. Was a 4* recruit out of Washington in high school who went to Oklahoma for his freshman year. Didn't play much last year with an injury but finished with 2 PBUs and 3 tackles and still has 4 years of eligibility remaining and elite athletic traits for a CB. The best kind of transfer, he has sky-high potential and isn't a one-year rental mercenary

Not questioning your assessment, but these days, how does anyone know whether any player will stay, or move five times in five years? Seriously, is there something that increases their 'stickiness' ?

Please give to Cal Legends at https://calegends.com/donation/ and encourage everyone you know who loves Cal sports to do it too.

To be in the Top 1% of all NIL collectives we only need around 3% of alumni to give $100/mo. OR 6% to give $50/mo. Please help spread the word. "If we don't broaden this base we're dead." - Sebastabear

The fact that he had been considering Cal as a prep, went to OU for a year and then decided that Cal was actually the best place for him, might mean that he would value a Cal degree. Not saying there aren't other factors in play, but...

That's fair but the reasons he's likely to stay have been pointed out by Big C. Regardless, it's a transfer with multiple years of eligibility so the opportunity at least exists. Most transfers seem to only have one or two left so he's a likely multi-year player

Or he knows he can start on a team that gets players drafted at that position yearly.
